Indian Embassy in Oman to open book of condolence on Sushma Swaraj’s demise

Muscat: The Indian Embassy in Oman will open a book of condolence on the demise of former Indian Foreign Minister, Sushma Swaraj.

67-year-old Swaraj passed away on Tuesday at the AIIMS hospital in New Delhi, India, after facing sudden cardiac arrest.

Expressing grief on Swaraj’s demise, the Indian Embassy took to Facebook to announce its decision to open a book of condolence for her.

"We express profound grief on the sad demise of former EAM Sushma Swaraj, a great leader and people's Foreign Minister. Embassy of India and Indian Diaspora in Oman fondly remember her and joins the nation in mourning her.

"A book of condolences will be opened at the Embassy of India, Diplomatic Area, Jamait Al-Duwal Al-Arabia Street, Diplomatic Quarters on 07 and 08 August and 11 August 2019, from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 16.00."
