Muscat Municipality reveals new Eid timings for Mawaleh market

Muscat: Muscat Municipality has extended the working hours for the Central Market for Fruits and Vegetables in Mawaleh for Eid Al-Adha.

The market will operate from 4.00 am till 11.00 pm from Thursday, 8 August to Sunday, 11 August.

It will be closed during the first two days of Eid Al-Adha, and shall resume work on the third day.

Meanwhile, Muscat Municipality said that the slaughterhouses will remain open for companies from 3.00pm - 6.00 pm on Thursday and Sunday.

For individuals, the slaughterhouses will be open on Thursday to Saturday (7.00am-1.00pm).

And from Sunday to Tuesday, the slaughterhouses will be opened from 7.00am to 6.00pm.
