Food and Hospitality exhibition set to begin in Oman this month

Muscat: The 11th Food and Hospitality Oman exhibition will begin at the Oman International Exhibition Centre on 20th September.
The event will be held under the patronage of Eng. Mohsen bin Mohammed al-Sheikh, Chairman of Muscat Municipality.
Around 250 brands representing several companies in the field of food and hospitality business from various countries, besides the Sultanate, such as Germany, India, Iran, Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Malaysia, Thailand and Spain will participate in the exhibition.
The three day event is a business and networking platform for companies and industry stakeholder to promote their latest products and services various sections in the food and hospitality sector.
The annual trade show, recognised as a landmark food and hospitality event in Oman, will showcase the industry’s continuous development and expansion through a comprehensive networking, education, and entertainment platform.
The event has set up a business matchmaking activity to enable international companies and brands to directly connect with potential buyers and partners in the local market as well as tap unlimited business opportunities in Oman.
The event will showcase new goods and facilities in food and beverage, agriculture and fisheries, food processing technologies, kitchen and catering equipment, hotel supplies and equipment, and restaurant and cafe segments.
The conference, organised by one of the leading organisers, Omanexpo’s signature trade events, aims at raising the culture of food safety in the country and highlighting the importance of food safety standards.
The exhibition at the event will attract experts from food and beverage manufacturers, processors, producers, retailers, catering and restaurant services, packaging and processing technology providers, vendors and government representatives to discuss the latest policies regulations, innovative approaches and technological advancements for assurance of food safety and quality in the Sultanate.
It will provide an opportunity for those with different food safety responsibilities to learn, network, and see others' perspectives. Speakers, with varying degrees of expertise in a variety of food safety fields, moderate the technical components of their presentations, so the audience as a whole gains useful "take home" messages.
Food and Hospitality Oman will run until 22nd of September.
