His Majesty Sultan Qaboos receives Eid Al Adha greetings

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has received cables of greetings from State Council Chairman Dr Yahya bin Mahfoudh al Mantheri, Majlis Ash’shura Chairman Shaikh Khalid bin Hilal al Maawali, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs Sayyid Badr bin Saud al Busaidy and Lt Gen Hassan bin Mohsin al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, on the occasion of the Blessed Eid Al Adha.

In his cable, the Chairman of the State Council said: “It gives me pleasure on behalf of the honourable members of the State Council and myself to extend our utmost congratulations and best wishes of happiness and good health to Your Majesty and our dear Oman and all Muslim countries continued security and stability.

He added, “Almighty Allah has granted us coherent society, love and tolerance and many other noble values which were further consolidated by the blessed Renaissance”

We pray to Allah to perpetuate His blessing and bounties on Your Majesty and our dear country.”
In his cable, the Chairman of Majlis Ash’shura said: “Your Majesty, may Almighty Allah accept your good deeds and answer your prayers and grant you forgiveness and glory.

Your Majesty, the achievements and modernity that spread all over the Sultanate couldn’t have been realised without your wise visions. The people of Oman mark this Eid Al Adha while enjoying security, prosperity, fraternity and high moral values. We give you our pledge that we will preserve these noble values and push them forward to the interest of the nation and its sincere people.

On this blessed occasion, it honours me on behalf of Majlis Ash’shura to express our gratitude to Your Majesty along with our greetings praying to Almighty Allah to protect and grant you strength and return this blessed occasion on Your Majesty for many years to come.

In his cable, the Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs said: “It honours me and your valiant armed forces and all the employees of the ministry of defence to express to Your Majesty our utmost greetings and sincere congratulations praying to Almighty Allah to return the occasion on Your Majesty with happiness and bounties while the Sultanate enjoys more progress and prosperity.

“Your Majesty, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, your brave armed forces and all the affiliates of the ministry of defence are marking the blessed occasion of Eid Al Adha from which they derive the noble values of hardworking and determination and during this auspicious occasion they renew their allegiance to Your Majesty and become more loyal to carrying out your wise directives.
May Almighty Allah protect Your Majesty and grant you happiness and long life.”
In his cable, the Inspector General of Police and Customs extended his sincere greetings on behalf of the Royal Oman Police personnel on the Blessed Eid Al Adha, praying to Almighty Allah for may returns of this occasion on His Majesty with good health and happiness, Oman and its sincere people with blessing and bounties.

He also said, “Your Majesty, the people of Oman are marking the blessed occasion of Eid Al Adha while happiness and prosperity spread all over our beloved country. Your people are enjoying the security and bounties Allah Almighty has bestowed on them. In this Eid the people of Oman recall the great efforts Your Majesty is exerting thanking Allah for the achievements that took place and praying to Him to bestow his blessing and well-being upon Your Majesty,”

In his cable the inspector general of police said, “Your sons the affiliates of Royal Oman Police are extremely happy as they mark Eid Al Adha while performing their duties motivated by strong determination and great love for this nation setting Your Majesty as an example. May Allah protect Your Majesty and grant you happiness and well-being.”
