Mwasalat issues new travel guidelines for travellers

Muscat: Oman’s national transport body, Mwasalat, has issued new travel guidelines for travellers using its services.

It has advised passengers to bring proper identification for verification like ID cards, resident cards and/or passports.

It has also asked passengers to dress properly while using Mwasalat services.

In an online statement, Mwasalat said: “Dear passengers, please abide by the issued guidelines and we wish you safe travels. Please bring your identity documents, luggage weight and appropriate dress.”

It added: “When travelling with us, ensure the following: ID cards, resident card or passport. One piece of hold luggage, max weight 23 kg, one piece of hand luggage, max weight 7 kg. Please dress appropriately (below the knee).”

The company stressed that it has the right to refuse travel based on passengers inappropriate clothing.

Tickets issued will be valid for one year from the date of issue, according to the company.
