No Omani student injured in New Zealand quake

Muscat: No Omani students were injured in an earthquake that hit the city of Wellington in New Zealand, according to the Consulate General of Oman in Australia.

A statement online said, "The Consulate General wishes to confirm the safety of all scholarship students living in the city of Wellington, New Zealand, following the earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale this morning."

The Consulate General then called for all students to exercise caution.
