Wakan is a small village which is located in the Western Hajar Mountains and 2,000 metres above sea level with stunning gardens overlooking the surrounding mountains above and the Wadi Mistal underneath. Wakan village is officially part of Nakhal Wilayat in the South Al Batinah Governorate, even though it is located in the border of Al Dhakhiliyah Governorate of Al Hajar mountain range.
