Muscat: Oman is one of the key tourist destinations among the GCC countries and tourists need to continue exploring the Sultanate, says Rafeeq Mohammed, Chief Operating Officer of ITL world.
Oman is an natural tourist destination and its vast serenity has to be explored more, Mohammed told the Times of Oman on the sidelines of the opening of their 35th office, which is the first in the Sultanate.
“We are looking to bring people from all around the world to this beautiful land and to explore the natural beauty which Oman is blessed with,” he added.
According to Rafeeq Mohammed, ITL World has begun a programme to promote Oman as a wedding destination.
The company is also developing sports packages.
“To encourage sports enthusiasts, we are putting together football packages which will be promoted around Oman,” he said.
“This unique product would provide a platform to play friendly matches with local Omani clubs, and explore the culture and hidden treasures of Oman,” Mohammed added.
Omani football superstar Ali Al Habsi officially opened the new office, which is located in Al Khuwair behind Home Centre and opposite Muscat Bakery. At the opening, Ali Al Habsi wished ITL world success in Oman.
“We offer a wide portfolio of travel solutions,” noted Siddeek Ahmed, the Chairman & the Managing Director of the ERAM Group of companies, which ITL World is part of.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to operate in Muscat and to associate with football legend Ali Al-Habsi,” Ahmed remarked.
He also announced that by 2020 the company is planning to open its 200th office.
“This vision, though ambitious, has been planned and strategised for years and,subsequently, we have identified and formulated the channel to establish this through afranchise model,” Ahmed said.
“We had earlier announced in the media that we would provide a 35 per cent discount on all holiday packages purchased on the opening day, but we are extending it until 4th of Feb, Rafeeq Mohammed said.
