More Omani citizens return home from Iran, GCC countries

Muscat: The Foreign Ministry announced the arrival of an additional group of Omani citizens today after facilitating their transfer from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The process was coordinated with the Sultanate’s embassies in Tehran and Ankara, along with the relevant authorities in the Republic of Azerbaijan, through organised land and air arrangements to ensure their safety and smooth transit.

The ministry added that further groups of citizens arriving from GCC countries have also safely reached the Sultanate through land border crossings.

Efforts are continuing to facilitate the gradual return of citizens while ensuring their safety and security.
