Oman accident: Three nationals die in Ibri

Muscat: Three nationals, including a boy and girl, died in an accident in Ibri on Saturday, Royal Oman Police (ROP) said.

“Three died and five have suffered injuries. The injured are undergoing treatment in Ibri hospital,” the ROP said.
According to latest available statistics form the government, 401 people lost their lives on Oman roads up until the end of July.
Sixty five were killed in roads in July, 72 in June and 54 in May.
The data reveals that 55 per cent of accidents occurred during the day and 45 during the night during July.
