
Muscat: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed Class X and Class XII board examinations scheduled for March 2, 2026, in Middle East countries due to the current situation in parts of the region.
In a circular issued on March 1, CBSE said the decision applies to schools affiliated with the board in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The new examination dates will be announced later.
The board said it will review the situation on March 3 and take appropriate decisions regarding examinations scheduled from March 5 onwards. Students have been advised to remain in contact with their schools for updates and follow official announcements.
