Muscat: The number of visitors to the Al Baleed and Samahram Archaeological Sites during last August 2016 stood at 53,712 visitors, according to statistics from the Department of Frankincense Land Sites at H.M the Sultan's Advisor's Office for Cultural Affairs.
Al Baleed Archaeological Park and Frankincense Land Museum received 36,079 visitors, while Samahram Archaeological Site received 17,415 visitors, Wadi Dokka received 166 visitors and Wbar Archaeological site received 52 visitors.
It should be noted that the Office of HM the Sultan's Adviser for Cultural Affairs is developing a number of archaeological sites and providing them with utilities to serve the goals of cultural and archaeological tourism in the Governorate of Dhofar.
