Royal Oman Police announces partial traffic closure

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police - Directorate of Relations and Security Information announced a partial traffic closure on Friday, 13 February 2026, during the "IRONKIDS" children's race, held as part of the Ironman World Championship.

Parking will be prohibited on both sides of the roads adjacent to the race route, as follows:

The race will commence at exactly 3:00 PM from Al Kharijiya Roundabout, proceeding along Al Shati Street in Al Qurum, passing near Al Shati Roundabout, and returning along the same route to the finish line on Al Shati Street. The children's race will continue until 5:30 PM.
