Muscat : The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has won three awards at the Digital Excellence Award ceremony in the government sector – second edition, held on Sunday evening, February 8, 2026.
ROP won the award for Best Institution in Digital User Experience for its ROP application, the award for Best Institution Achieving the Highest Performance in Digital Transformation, and the award for Best Digital Government Service Provided to the Business Sector for its Security Licensing Platform. These awards recognize ROP's excellence in developing electronic systems, enhancing the experience of citizens and residents, and promoting digital integration, all of which contribute to raising the level of institutional performance and achieving the highest standards of quality and excellence in government work.
The Digital Excellence Award in the government sector is a national platform that recognizes outstanding government projects and initiatives that have provided innovative digital solutions, contributed to developing government work environments and improving the efficiency of business models, in addition to motivating government entities to implement best digital practices, establish a culture of excellence and innovation, and improve the quality of digital services provided to beneficiaries.
