Expat murdered in North Batinah, suspect arrested

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) have arrested a man of African nationality in connection with the murder of another individual of the same nationality in North Batinah Governorate.

According to the ROP, the suspect was taken into custody by the North Batinah Police Command following investigations into the killing. Preliminary findings indicate that both the accused and the victim were working illegally on a farm at the time of the incident.

Authorities confirmed that legal procedures are ongoing in accordance with Omani law.
