Under the Patronage of His Highness Sayyid Mohammed bin Thuwaini Al Said… AWASR Wins “Company of the Year – Telecom Sector” at the Times of Oman Business Leadership Summit 2025

Muscat: AWASR announced today its recognition as the “Company of the Year – Telecom Sector” at the Times of Oman Business Leadership Summit 2025, an event held yesterday at the St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Mohammed bin Thuwaini Al Said. It brought together senior government officials, leading CEOs, industry specialists, and over 200 business leaders to explore topics such as economic resilience, sustainability, and leadership amid rapid digital change.

Organised by Muscat Media Group and Gulf Leaders Circle, the summit was held under the theme “Leading the Future of Business. It emphasised strategies for managing global uncertainty while fostering innovation, AI, and new business models.

The summit featured keynote sessions, high-level discussions, and fireside conversations with influential leaders from Oman and abroad. Topics covered included digital transformation, sustainability, innovative growth strategies, and leadership approaches that enable organisations to thrive amid disruption.

The day ended with the Times Business Leadership Awards, honouring companies and leaders who have shown outstanding contributions to business excellence and economic growth.

AWASR received the Company of the Year, Telecom Sector award in recognition of its leadership in enhancing digital connectivity nationwide, expanding high-speed fibre networks, and driving forward Oman’s digital transformation agenda.

Representing AWASR at the ceremony, Badriya Al Ismaili, VP – HR & Support Services, received the award on behalf of the company.
