His Majesty receives Prime Minister of Bhutan at Al Barakah Palace

Muscat:His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at Al Barakah Palace today to Dasho Tshering Tobgay, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bhutan.

The Prime Minister conveyed greetings and best wishes of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of the Kingdom of Bhutan to His Majesty the Sultan. The King also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity.

On his turn, His Majesty the Sultan asked the Prime Minister to convey his greetings and best wishes of success to the King. His Majesty also wished the people of Bhutan further growth and prosperity.

The audience discussed prospects of cooperation between the two countries and touched on opportunities to develop investment partnerships across various economic and commercial spheres, in a manner that serves interests of their peoples and enhances the paths of economic diversification and sustainable development.

The audience was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister and Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office.
