Omani Prof selected as Ambassador for International Society for Education Through Art

Paris: The International Society for Education through Art (InSEA) has selected Professor Mohammed bin Hamoud Al Ameri, Professor in the Curriculum and Instruction Department at Sultan Qaboos University, to be InSEA’s Ambassador and Representative for the Africa and Middle East region for a three-year period, from 2025 to 2027.

Professor Mohammed Al Ameri previously served as Head of the Curriculum and Instruction Department, Head of the Field Experience and Student Teaching Unit, and Assistant Head of the Department at the College of Education. He has research contributions in both Arabic and English and a number of books and book chapters. Professor Mohammed Al Ameri has also received a number of local and international awards.

It is noteworthy that InSEA is a non-governmental organisation and an official partner of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). Its goal is to encourage and promote creative education through arts, design, and handicrafts in all countries. The organisation promotes international understanding through art via local, national, and international events.
