Northern parts of Oman to witness rainfall: PACA

Muscat: Rain is expected over al Hajar Mountains and some northern wilayats in Oman on Tuesday, according to the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA).

A statement by PACA read: “chances of cloud formations and thunder showers, sometimes accompanied by active low wind over Al Hajar Mountains and adjacent wilayats in the afternoon.”

Rainfall is also expected in Al Rustaq in North Al Batinah and Ibri in Al Dhahirah, as well as Nizwa in Al Dakhiliyah.

"It will be a cloudy day over most governorates of Oman," and added, "Satellite images show the spread of cloud formations over most of Oman's governorates."

At night, there are chances of low cloud formations and mist.

“There are chances of low clouds or scattered mist at the end of the night and early morning over most coastal areas in Oman,” the statement added.

Temperatures in Oman are expected to range in the thirties and early forties.
