Three Asian expats arrested for human trafficking

Muscat: The Directorate General of Investigations and Criminal Research, with the help from the Special Tasks Police Unit in Bausher, has arrested three individuals of Asian nationality for their involvement in the crime of human trafficking.

This trap was laid by  promoting vacant job positions in one of the hotels. They enticed a woman of the same nationality and forced her to work in the hotel.

The woman was coerced into performing acts contrary to public morals. Legal procedures against them are being completed.
