His Majesty the Sultan receives Renaissance Day greetings

Muscat: On the occasion of the Blessed Renaissance Day, 23rd July anniversary, His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has received cables of greetings from Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Chairman of the State Council, Khalid bin Hilal bin Nasser Al Ma'awali, Chairman of Majlis Al Shura, Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib Al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs and Lt. General Hassan bin Mohsin Al Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs.
In his cable, Dr. Al Mantheri said that he has the honour to express on behalf of the members and employees of the State Council sincere greetings to His Majesty the Sultan, praying to the Almighty Allah to return this and similar occasions on His Majesty the Sultan with good health and happiness and on the Omani people with further progress and prosperity under His Majesty's wise leadership. He said that the five decades of the blessed Renaissance were wisely led by His Majesty the Sultan. He said that the blessed Renaissance has covered the social and economic spheres in all parts of the Sultanate along with the sectors of education, health, social care, transport, housing, security and defence among other sectors.
In his cable, Al Ma'awali said that he was honoured on behalf of the members of Majlis Al Shura to express sincere greetings coupled with gratitude and thanks and prayers to the Almighty Allah to protect His Majesty the Sultan and grant him good health happiness and a long life.
He said that the Shura (consultation) March has consistently progressed for the achievement of the targeted goals, thanks to the Royal Care His Majesty the Sultan has accorded to this effect.
Al Ma'awali praised the comprehensive development in the country coupled with sustainable national economy and the achievements of the blessed Renaissance. He also praised the Sultanate's foreign policy established on the principles of peace, justice, understanding and dialogue. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to return this and similar occasions on His Majesty the Sultan for years to come and for the Omani people with further progress and prosperity.
In his cable, Sayyid Badr expressed his sincere greetings and those of the personnel of the Sultan's Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defence to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said praying to the Almighty Allah to protect His Majesty the Sultan for further achievements at all levels and for a brighter future for the Sultanate of Oman. He said that the five decades of hard work have resulted in remarkable achievements and reflected the loyalty and sincerely between the people of Oman and His Majesty the Sultan.
He said that the personnel of the Sultan's Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defence while celebrating this 49th anniversary of the blessed Renaissance day renew their loyalty and sincerity to His Majesty the Sultan. He also wished His Majesty the Sultan good health, happiness and a long life and the Omani people further progress and prosperity under His Majesty's wise leadership.
Lt. General Al Shuraiqi, expressed his sincere greetings and wishes to His Majesty the Sultan. He said "remarkable achievements have been made during the blessed Renaissance, thanks to the visionary and wise leadership of His Majesty the Sultan". He said that the personnel of Royal Oman Police feel honoured to safeguard the achievements and the comprehensive development witnessed in all parts of the Sultanate of Oman. He also prayed to the Almighty Allah to protect His Majesty the Sultan and grant him good health and happiness and further achievements and progress in the Sultanate of Oman.
