Nizwa University hosts forum on Arab students' innovation, creativity

Nizwa: The 26th Arab Students' Innovation and Creativity Forum kicked off on Sunday at the University of Nizwa. The forum is organised by the Arab Council for Student Training and Creativity under the theme "Opportunities and Challenges Facing Educational Institutions Amid Technological Developments".

The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Sheikh Dr. Hilal Ali Al Hinai, Deputy Chairman of the State Council, in the presence of members of the State Council, officials from local and Arab universities, academics and 60 leading students representing 36 Arab universities from 9 countries.

The opening ceremony included an operetta titled "Masters of the Seas", a welcoming poem and a session during which the experiences of Arab universities were discussed.

The two-day forum will conclude on Monday with a review of the tasks of the arbitration committees. The topics of the forum focus on innovation and developing research in a manner that keeps pace with modern trends in information technology.
