Challenges for skin infection cure discussed in dermatology forum

Muscat: The Ministry of Health organised on Saturday the third Muscat Skin Diseases and Dermatology Forum with the participation of a number of doctors, consultants and specialists in dermatology from within and outside the Sultanate.

The forum aimed to exchange expertise with the health practitioners in this vital field.

The forum, organised under the title “Allergic Contact Dermatitis”, discussed diagnosis under increasing clinical challenges for practitioners in this field.

Dr. Aisha Al Ali, Head of Al Khuwair Dermatology Centre and chairperson of Oman Dermatology Society reaffirmed that the event represents a national platform for exchange of knowledge and review of the latest scientific developments in diagnosing allergic skin diseases.

The forum aimed to enhance exchange of knowledge and expertise among dermatologists in Oman and the region.

The forum also focused on diagnosis of allergies and upgrading the competence of the national medical cadres in the field of diagnosis and treatment, The activities of the forum included several sessions which discussed the latest developments in allergic contact dermatitis and review of a number of working papers on the allergic contact and the key reasons for allergy in 2025.

The sessions also dealt with the occupational skin diseases, allergic interactions and the review of actual clinical cases and regional patterns of the allergic dermatitis.

It is worth mentioning that Muscat Dermatology Forum is one of the leading events that contribute to development of the medical practices and enhancement of the competence of the national cadre.
