Muscat: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth concluded the Tharwah Youth Project Development Lab, which ran for three days with the participation of 99 young men and women. The lab aimed to engage youth and listen to their input to evaluate and create qualitative ideas for programmes and projects that contribute to fulfilling the aspirations of young people in the upcoming phase.
An open dialogue session with the youth was held on the final day, attended by Basil Ahmed Al Rowas, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Sports and Youth. He affirmed that all the ideas presented and discussed in this program will undoubtedly be studied, considered, and pursued for implementation, with the outcomes benefiting the youth and our local communities.
In a speech by Marwah Al Rashdi, representing the lab supervisors, it was explained that the specialized sessions focused on two main pillars: evaluating existing projects within the various departments of the Directorate General of Youth based on specialised criteria, and generating developmental ideas for new and innovative programs that serve the policies and vision of the Directorate, with a focus on youth and their interests.
At the conclusion of the programme, Al Rowas honored the participants of the youth lab.
