OCCI joins preparatory meeting for Arab–Irish Business Summit in Dublin

Muscat: Representing the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), Sheikh Saud bin Ahmed Al-Nahari, Board Member of the OCCI, took part in the Board of Directors meeting of the Arab–Irish Chamber of Commerce in Dublin, the capital of the Republic of Ireland. The meeting reviewed preparations for the upcoming Arab–Irish Business Summit 2025.

Sheikh Saud Al-Nahari stated that the meeting represents an important step in preparing for the summit in Dublin, which provides an opportunity to strengthen trade and investment ties between business communities in Arab countries and the Republic of Ireland, as well as to explore new avenues for joint economic cooperation.

During the meeting, Ahmad Younis, Secretary General and CEO of the Arab–Irish Chamber of Commerce, presented the summit’s programme and participating speakers. He stressed that the summit is an important platform to boost economic and trade relations between Ireland and the Arab countries, and to open new areas for cooperation and investment.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the Board of Directors of the Arab–Irish Chamber of Commerce held talks with H.E. Niamh Smith, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment in Ireland, in the presence of a number of Arab ambassadors to Ireland and business leaders. The Minister affirmed her government’s commitment to expanding trade exchange and economic cooperation with Arab countries.
