Ankara: The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Türkiye held a joint discussion session in Ankara.
The Omani side was headed by Maj. General Idris Abdulrahman Al Kindi, Secretary-General of the National Security Council at the Diwan of Royal Court. Meanwhile, the Turkish side was headed by Okay Memiş, Secretary-General of the National Security Council.
During the discussion session, both sides affirmed their commitment to the close strategic partnership between the two countries. They also highlighted the emphasis placed by their respective leaderships on strengthening bilateral relations, which are based on trust and mutual respect.
Discussions also touched upon a range of issues of mutual interest, with an emphasis on the importance of maintaining security and stability in the region.
Maj. General Idris Abdulrahman Al Kindi, Secretary-General of the National Security Council, also held several bilateral meetings with officials in the Republic of Türkiye.
