Salalah: The "Govern It Smartly" Hackathon, organised by the State Audit Institution in cooperation with Dhofar Municipality, was launched today at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Compound for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah.
The two-day event has attracted broad participation from Omani youth and professionals interested in developing digital solutions to enhance governance and transparency.
The hackathon aims to support decentralized governance in line with the priorities of Oman Vision 2040 by promoting a culture of integrity and accountability. Winning initiatives will be transformed into practical projects contributing to local development and reinforcing Oman’s global standing in governance, local administration, and community participation.
