​Temperature could reach 46 degrees in some parts of Oman

Muscat: The temperature might reach 46 degrees Celsius today in some parts of the Sultanate.

The highest temperature expected today is 46 degrees at Wilayat Haima and Wilayat Ibri followed by Wilayat Al Buraimi at 45 degrees and Wilayat Nizwa at 44 degrees.

Salalah and Saiq will record the lowest temperature at 28 and 31 degrees, Oman Meteorology said in a statement.

The Al-Hajar Mountains may witness thundershowers around afternoon while it cloudy or partially cloudy weather is forecast for Dhofar governorate.
