Muscat : Oman Customs has foiled an attempt to smuggle 6.5 kilograms of marijuana through Salalah International Airport by an expat passenger.
Oman Customs said in a statement :"The General Administration of Customs, in cooperation with the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, thwarted an attempt to smuggle 6.5 kilograms of marijuana through Salalah International Airport. The drug was seized from an Indian passenger, who had hidden it in his personal luggage."
