Royal Oman Police busts bootlegging operation

Muscat: More than 1,600 bottles of alcohol were found in the possession of three expats, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced.

According to the police, the suspects have been arrested for possession and trading of alcohol.

In a statement online, the ROP said: "In two separate cases, Muscat police command arrested three Asians on charges of selling and possession of alcohol, where they were found to be in possession of more than 1,600 bottles and cans of alcohol.”
