This playground in Muscat to have new equipment

Muscat: Children who visit Al Khoudh playground in the future will soon be able to go on the new rides and equipment that will be set up there.

Muscat Municipality has asked companies that specialise in the installation of such equipment to submit tenders for the same, and those who are interested can obtain tender documents for this activity by visiting the following link: etendering.tenderboard.gov.om

A tender fee of OMR 25 must be paid, with the last day of tender collection being 15th August, 2019. Tenders will be returned by 22 August. Only specialist companies are requested to apply.

A spokesperson for Muscat Municipality said: “Bidders shall submit their offers electronically, accompanied with an electronic copy of a bond issued by any local bank in Oman addressed by Muscat Municipality. The bond shall be one percent of the tender value valid for 90 days starting from the date of bids submission. The original copy of the bond shall be submitted, and tenders which do not meet the required banking insurance shall not be accepted.”

He added: “Tender bonds shall be placed in the tender bond box for e-tendering on the first floor at the Directorate of Purchasing and Assets in Muscat Municipality’s HQ in Ruwi before 10am, per above date mentioned. All envelopes are to be clearly marked with the name of the tender being presented, and no other marks.”
