Muscat: There's art, circus shows, folk dance contests and many other things to enjoy on Sunday at the Salalah Tourism Festival program at the Municipality Entertainment Centre.
The events schedule, announced by the sub-committee for the festival includes the launch of the Al Barah folk dance contest to be held at the Al Murooj theatre as well as the exhibition of various heritage and craft activities at the Al Wilayat theatre.
Four exhibitions, including the consumer exhibition, the exhibition of the land of friendship and peace, and two on sea shells as well as the General Authority for Craft Industries will also be part of the festival.
The Sultanate's Culture and Art Team will perform the play "Al Farda" which begins at 9 pm.
Children's theatre activites start at 5 pm, where a variety of competitions will be held. The international shows will start at 6 pm, where magic, acrobatics, circus and carnival shows will be presented. A fireworks show is scheduled for 9pm.
The Salalah Tourism Festival 2019 started on Thursday and will continue till August 22.
