Tragic bus collision claims lives of driver, children in Izki

Muscat: A devastating bus collision occurred in the Al-Rusais area in Izki on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 involving a bus carrying several children. The incident saw the bus collide with a stationary object and subsequently roll over, confirmed the Royal Oman Police (ROP).

According to ROP, preliminary information indicates a tragic outcome, with the death of the bus driver and three children. Additionally, twelve other children sustained injuries of varying degrees and were swiftly transported to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
