British, Portugal citizens onboard crashed Air India plane; 15 doctors injured as plane fell on their building

Ahmedabad: The Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner which crashed in Ahmedabad on Thursday had 53 British, seven from Portugal and one Canadian citizen on board. It is reported that among the 169 Indian passengers, former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was also on the flight to London’s Gatwick airport.

Injured passengers were rushed to the hospital for treatment, while dead were shifted for post-mortem examination.

It is reported that the aircraft crashed against a building in which doctors were living. It is reported that 15 doctors were injured in the incident
