70 expats arrested for labour law violations in Oman

Muscat: 70 expatriates from Asian nationalities have been arrested for labour law violations in North Al Batinah.

In a statement issued by the Royal Oman Police read: "The North Al Batinah Police Command arrested 70 expats from Asian nationalities accused of violating the labour law and the foreign residency law.

"Legal proceedings are currently being undertaken against the accused," the statement added.
