Muscat Securities Market suspends trading briefly

Muscat: Trading on the Muscat Securities Market faced a malfunction of the trading platform on Sunday due to which Muscat Securities Market management has decided to suspend trading at 12 pm, to rectify the malfunction and delete the trades and orders to ensure fair trading.
After a brief suspension, new trading session began from 12:15 pm to 2 pm. The trading hour was extended to recover the lost trading time, according to a statement released by the Muscat Securities Market on Sunday.
The malfunction is now rectified and the trading platform is expected to run smoothly.
