Muscat: Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) received in his office at Al Murtafa’a Camp on Wednesday the commander of the Korean vessel “Munmu the Great” and his accompanying military delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed several military matters of mutual interest, especially in maritime fields.
The meeting was attended by several senior RNO officers and the Military Attaché of the Republic of Korea’s embassy in Muscat.
Moreover, the commander of “Munmu the Great” and his accompanying delegation visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC).
Upon their arrival at the centre, they were greeted by the Acting Head of the MSC.
During this visit, the guests were briefed about the MSC’s roles in maintaining Oman’s maritime security. They also toured the centre’s facilities and viewed its various equipment used in carrying out its national duties.
