First day of Eid Al Adha announced in Oman

Muscat: The Main Committee on sighting the crescent moon of Dhu al-Hijjah for this year, 1446 AH has announced that the moonsighting was confirmed this evening, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.

"The crescent moon of Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH has been sighted. Accordingly, tomorrow, Wednesday, will be the first day of Dhu al-Hijjah, and Friday, June 6, will be the first day of Eid al-Adha," the ONA said on X (formerly Twitter).
