Sayyid Shihab receives Crown Prince of Dubai

Muscat: HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs received Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in the presence of HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, in his office at Al Murtafaa Camp on Monday.

Upon the arrival of Sheikh Hamdan to the headquarters of the Ministry of Defence at Al Murtafaa Camp, an official reception was accorded to him, as the guard of honour saluted him.

At the outset of the meeting, HH Sayyid Shihab welcomed the guest, wishing him a successful visit.

The meeting reviewed relations between Oman and the UAE and discussed a set of topics of common interests. They also reviewed areas of military cooperation between the defence ministries of both countries, and means of promoting them.

The meeting was as attended Dr. Mohammed bin Nassir Al Zaabi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence and Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces. -ONA
