12 arrested for entering Oman illegally

Muscat : The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested 12 people for entering the Sultanate of Oman illegally.

ROP said in a statement :"North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the Coast Guard Police and the two Special Taskforce Police units of Al Khaboura and  Suwaiq apprehend 12 individuals, including 9 people of Pakistani nationality, one Afghan national, and one Ethiopian national and a citizen wanted by the judicial authorities while entering the country illegally via a boat operated by an Iranian national. Legal procedures are being completed."
