Muscat : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at Al Barakah Palace today to Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
At the outset of the audience, His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the guest, wishing him and his accompanying delegation a successful visit to serve interests of the two nations.
During the audience, Sheikh Hamdan conveyed greetings and best wishes of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people.
On his turn, His Majesty asked the guest to convey his greetings and best wishes to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.
The audience reviewed the deep-rooted relations between Oman and the UAE, in addition to discussing areas of cooperation and partnership in various spheres that serve interest of the two countries’ peoples.
It was attended from the Omani side by HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Sheikh Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy, Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones and Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority. Meanwhile, it was attended from the UAE side by Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Ahmed bin Said Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Emirates Group, and Chairman of Dubai Airports, Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Sheikh Salim bin Khalid Al Qasmi, Minister of Culture, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications and a number of officials in the Government of Dubai.
