Al Buraimi: A new Cardiac Care Unit was inaugurated today at Al Buraimi Hospital, marking another step in the Ministry of Health's efforts to develop specialized healthcare services and enhance medical infrastructure in line with community needs.
The unit is staffed with qualified cardiac specialists and equipped with advanced medical devices, following internationally approved treatment protocols to ensure effective and safe care for both critical and chronic cardiac cases.
The opening ceremony, presided over by Dr. Said Harib Al Lamki, Ministry of Health's Undersecretary for Health Affairs, included an inspection tour of the facility. Attendees reviewed the unit's emergency response systems and operational workflows designed to optimize cardiac emergency management.
Dr. Majid Rashid Al Maqbali, Director General of Health Services in Al Buraimi Governorate, stated: “This unit is a strategic addition to the governorate’s healthcare network, reflecting our ongoing plans to upgrade specialized services with integrated, standards-compliant treatment environments.”
On her turn, Dr. Aisha Rashid Al Maqbalia, Director of Al Buraimi Hospital, said: “The unit significantly elevates healthcare quality indicators in the governorate. Our teams have undergone intensive training to ensure operational readiness.”
