Urgent appeal made for blood donation in Oman

Muscat : The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has made an urgent appeal to people with AB (+ve) blood type to donate blood today at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar due to an urgent medical case suffering from severe bleeding. 

DBBS said in a statement that we would like to note that there is an urgent medical case suffering from severe bleeding and urgently requires a large quantity of AB+ blood and blood components. We urge those with this blood type to donate blood and platelets as soon as possible at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.

The blood donation hours at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar is:- Saturday to Thursday from 8 am to 8 pm, and on Friday from 8 am to 2 pm.
