Electronic attestation service now available for Omani citizens in Thailand

Muscat: The Foreign Ministry of the Sultanate of Oman has announced the upcoming launch of the sixth phase of its electronic attestation service, which will become available in the Kingdom of Thailand starting on April 15, 2025.

This initiative forms part of Oman's ongoing efforts to enhance its consular services and supports the broader digital transformation objectives outlined in the nation's Vision 2040.

The electronic attestation service removes the requirement for citizens to visit embassies to complete attestation procedures, thereby offering greater convenience and efficiency. Since its initial launch on January 23, 2025, the service has been progressively extended to several countries, including nations within the Gulf Cooperation Council, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Germany, Cyprus, Japan, and Italy. The inclusion of Thailand represents the next stage in the ministry's plan to expand these services on a global scale.

Individuals who wish to access this service can find further details through the ministry's designated website link.
