Muscat: Police Aviation successfully conducted a rescue operation in Jebel Shams in the Wilayat of Al Hamra and rescued two Omani nationals who lost their way and became exhausted during hiking and mountain climbing activities.
They were safely transported to a secure location and are in good health.
The Royal Oman Police emphasised the importance of adhering to safety guidelines and carefully planning before engaging in mountain activities to avoid similar incidents.
