Labour Ministry asks private sector to pay wages early for Eid

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour has reminded private sector establishments about the early payments of wages due to workers ahead of the holidays.

A circular said, "On the occasion of the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr for the year 1446 AH, the Ministry of Labour wishes to inform all private sector establishments subject to the provisions of the Labour Law issued by Royal Decree No. (2023/53) of their obligation to ensure the early payment of wages to their workers for the month of March 2025, no later than Thursday, 27th March 2025."
