Muscat and Salalah airports earn top honours from ACI

Muscat: Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport have received multiple accolades from Airports Council International (ACI) for global Airport Service Quality in the Middle East. These awards are based on ACI's evaluation survey, which assesses performance indicators at passenger departure points worldwide.

Muscat International Airport was awarded "Best Airport in the Middle East" in the 5 to 15 million passenger category. It also received awards for "Best Staff Performance in the Middle East," "Easiest Airport Journey in the Middle East," and "Cleanest Airport in the Middle East."

Salalah Airport was recognized as "Best Airport in the Middle East" in the category for airports handling fewer than 2 million passengers. It also won awards for "Best Staff Performance in the Middle East," "Easiest Airport Journey in the Middle East," "Most Enjoyable Airport in the Middle East," and "Cleanest Airport in the Middle East."

Salalah Airport was further honored with inclusion on the ACI Director General’s Roll of Excellence.

Notably, Salalah Airport is set to join the "Top 10 Airports" Roll of Excellence for 2025, a prestigious list established in 2011. Since its inception, 82 airports have been featured, including Muscat International Airport, which was listed in 2024.
