Defence Secretary General receives Italian military official

Muscat: Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Za'abi, Secretary General at the Ministry of Defence today received Lt. Gen. Stefano Mannino, President of the Centre for Higher Defence Studies of the Republic of Italy and his accompanying delegation, who is currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a set of topics matters of common concern, within the context of promoting the joint cooperation to serve the common interests.

The meeting was attended by Maj. Gen Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Sultanate of Oman and the military attaché at the Italian Embassy in Muscat.
