OCCI symposium focuses on ‘GCC Economic Diversification Indices’

Muscat: Tasks of a two-day symposium titled “GCC Economic Diversification Indices” kicked off in Muscat on Monday.

The two-day symposium is organised by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in partnership with Konrad Adenauer Foundation’s Regional Programme for GCC states, in cooperation with Smart Investment Gateway consultants.

The symposium lays emphasis on achieving tangible progress in economic diversification at the level of GCC states and ways of measuring economic diversification indicators.

The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Sheikh Rashid Amir Al Musalhi, First Deputy Chairman of the OCCI Board of Directors.
