One arrested for attempting to smuggle marijuana at Muscat International Airport

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested an African national at Muscat International Airport for attempting to smuggle over 15 kilograms of marijuana into the Sultanate of Oman.

The ROP statement said: "Muscat International Airport Customs Department, in collaboration with the Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, arrested an African national while attempting to smuggle over 15 kilograms of marijuana. Legal procedures are being completed."
